Labor Doula

Labor doulas provide emotional and physical support during labor, as well as education and resources during pregnancy.

Services include:

  • 2 prenatal meetings

  • Email/text/phone support during pregnancy

  • On-call availability 2wks before/after due date

  • Continuous labor support

  • 1 postpartum visit

  • Written birth story

Postpartum Doula

$40/hour — 4 hour minimum

Postpartum doulas help parents navigate the ‘fourth trimester’ by caring for the newborn, providing emotional support, and performing light household tasks. Services are booked by the hour.

Services may include:

  • Changing/feeding baby

  • Caring for the baby so the parent can nap

  • Support with breastfeeding

  • Support with babywearing

  • Unloading dishwasher

  • Light tidying

Sibling Doula

$30-40/hour

Sibling doulas are on-call to take care of siblings when you go into labor.

In addition to standard childcare responsibilities, services may include:

  • Age-appropriate explanation of birth process

  • Coordination with parents on meeting baby

Rate varies depending on the number/age of children.
